United States: 2 Employees Suspended in Connection with Air Collision Over Hudson
The Federal Aviation Administration suspended 2 air traffic controllers on Thursday. The employees are accused of negligence, which may have played a part in the fatal air collision over the Hudson River. One of the employees was outside of the control tower, against regulations, at the time of the crash. The second is accused of talking on the phone when the crash occurred. Nine people lose their lives in the accident.
