The United States Transportation Security Administration announced that new rules will be enacted beginning this Saturday, as part of the "Secure Flight" national project.
As a means of identifying individuals who have been singled out by the Federal government as "no fly" passengers, airlines will now require passengers on all domestic flights to provide 3 pieces of information when purchasing tickets: the passenger's full name as it appears on the government-issued ID they will be using, his or her birth date and his or her gender.
