President of Costa Rica Ill with Mexican Flu
The Costa Rican governments made a televised announcement on Tuesday, that President Oscar Arias has been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. President Arias is in satisfactory condition, and will rest at home until he is well.
CNN reports that there have been 718 confirmed cases of the Mexican flu in Costa Rica, and 27 people in the country have died of the disease.
