Several hours after Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, “there are no winds of war blowing in the North,” the Lebonese President Michel Suleimn called for the formation of a unity government, in response to “threats” from Israel. Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel will hold Lebanon responsible for any future Hezbollah attack, if the organization is officially included in the government.
"The near daily, repeated Israeli threats ... require us to work seriously to secure the internal ranks and accelerate the formation of the national unity government," Lebanon's President Michel Suleiman said on Tuesday, according to a statement from his office. (Reuters)
