On the Spanish tourist island of Mallorca, 3 bombs exploded Sunday afternoon in two different restaurants and in an underground shopping and parking area. Police were tipped off about the bombs, and managed to evacuate specific areas of the town before the explosions occurred, and nobody was injured.
The Basque separatist group ETA claimed responsibility for the blasts, CNN+ reported. The group has been using terror to fight for Basque independence for the last forty years, killing over 800 people in the process.
