A sightseeing helicopter and private Piper Arrow plane collided in midair just after noon on Saturday, above the Hudson River in New York City. Both aircraft fell into the river, and of the nine passengers on the two aircraft, four bodies have been recovered thus far. It is assumed that none of the passengers survived the crash. A fifth body has been located, but the deep water at the crash site has made recovery of bodies and debris difficult.
