Breaking News: Agreement Reached on Vaccine Purchase for Israelis

Channel 10 News reports that this afternoon, a contract will be signed between the Israeli Department of Health and a French Pharmaceutical company, detailing the terms of a $7 million deal to place an order for Mexican flu vaccines.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz, and Deputy Health Minister Rabbi Yaakov Litzman reached an agreement earlier, stipulating that Israel will reserve the spend up to $20 million dollars on an order for vaccines. At present, the vaccines are still being researched and tested, and cannot yet be mass produced and marketed.
