The Israeli Ambassador in the United Nations, Professor Gabriela Shalev, said this evening in a speech given before the Security Council, during a discussion of the state of affairs in the Middle East, "Iran is not only a nuclear threat – it is a serious threat to the entire region, as a country that provides weapons, as well as financial and moral support to terror rings in Gaza and in Southern Lebanon."
