Petition Against Lieberman's Appointment as Foreign Minister Dropped

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman will maintain his office, and his party's ministers will remain at their posts. The decision was reached after a meeting held in the Israeli High Court of Justice, regarding a petition submitted by the Movement for Quality Government, and after the High Court advised the Movement to withdraw the petition. The claim was that since no formal police accustations have been filed against Leiberman, he cannot be prevented from appointing ministers to law enforcement positions.
